Hungarian roots

A nice family from Texas and North Carolina, US visited us at #HungryforHungary. We hosted the Szoka family having Hungarian roots: the granddad of Janos left Hungary as a young man at the end of XIXth century and founded a family in the US. He taught the Hungarian language to his son, but it didn’t herited to the grandson, Janos. Therefore her daughter, Morgan surprised me, who decided to discover her Hungarian identity and started learning Hungarian. She has been learning it for nine month, and despite the extreme difficulty she understand pretty much and knows a lot of words. I really appreciate her persistence, as the ancestors’ national identity can not herite more that 2 generations. Moreover Janos made me happy as tasting my meat soup and #chickenpaprikash, as it remembered him the grandma’s savours. 😍🍲🍷🇭🇺
